Melancholia

Pip back to school today, for the last term of infants. All very grown-up, as they have to go in on their own now. Off she toddled, happy as larry, didn’t look back. I suddenly realised that she had grown again without me noticing. All the crap’n’trauma of the last 3 have meant that we are closer than ever as a family, and I certainly spend more time with Pip than many/most fathers can – goodness knows how “busy/absent” fathers and mothers cope with this heartstring-tugging. Enough already!

Apex is alarmingly quiet – friends and relatives surmise that it’s a function of the half term holidays. Hmm.

Mumsie’s turn to go to hozzer today, for various veins. Haircut later, mullet avoidance procedure in place. Gym later, gut avoidance procedure in place.
The sun shines down on me.
