A Row Of Tents

Yesterday to the Brighton Centre for Pip’s birthday treat – a visit to “Holiday On Ice” with some of her little chums. The girls all enjoyed it mightily, and I must say – as usual – so did we. It was marginally less camp than last year’s outing, though still went some in the finale. There was a great “transported girl” magic trick (after watching the wonderful “The Prestige” the other night I know the technical terms you see). One of the scenarios featured vaguely fetishistic elements, and setting fire to the ice, which impressed me anyway. And the old “getting everyone in a long line and spinning around really fast” bit was thrilling, as ever.

This high level of campery is good training for Las Vegas – we’re going at Easter before NY. (woo hoo etc).

In other news, Lady Beryl is in the hozzer following a fall and oh dear. L is up at her house tidying and administering.
