My insomnia is starting to get not amusing any more. Does anyone know how to sleep when every fibre of your brain is shouting “wake up” at between 4 and 5 am every morning?

The pyramid of worries that keep me awake once I have woken are partly legitimate and partly nonsense, and ALL evaporate when the rest of the household rises (at which time, of course, I become tired and could easily drop off).

Any ideas? (don’t worry about counting or getting blind drunk – tried them).
